"Tamashii" means "soul" in Japanese – a fitting claim for Bandai's collector label, under which the company's most elaborate figure lines are released. The best known is S.H.Figuarts: highly poseable action figures that precisely recreate fighting stances from anime and film. FiguartsZERO, by contrast, favors fixed, dynamically posed statues, S.H.MonsterArts brings Godzilla and company to your shelf, and the long-running line Chogokin has worked with die-cast metal since the '70s. Together, these lines cover practically every collector preference, from the pose-tinkerer with swappable hands to the fan of fully realized statue drama.
The license list reads like a Shonen Jump table of contents: Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Demon Slayer are regulars, alongside Godzilla, Sailor Moon, and current hits. Which line, scale, and accessories a figure comes with is listed on its product page – with the posable models, you decide the pose.

Behind Tamashii Nations stands Bandai's premium label, under which the Japanese toy giant releases its most elaborate collector figures. The word "tamashii" means soul – and it describes the ambition pretty accurately: figures that don't just depict the character but capture them in pose, expression, and accessories. The portfolio includes some of the best-known figure lines in the world, led by the highly poseable S.H.Figuarts action figures, the statue line FiguartsZERO, the monster series S.H.MonsterArts, and the traditional die-cast format Chogokin. At Elbenwald you'll find Tamashii Nations figures spanning anime, games, and film – from Son Goku to Godzilla, from Sailor Moon to Kaiju No. 8.
The division of labor between the lines. S.H.Figuarts stands for maximum poseability: dozens of joints, swappable hands, and interchangeable faces turn a figure into a pose archive – ideal for recreating your favorite scene on the shelf. FiguartsZERO skips the joints and puts everything into dynamism instead: frozen mid-attack, billowing capes, effect parts in clear plastic. S.H.MonsterArts applies the Figuarts approach to kaiju like Godzilla, Metal Build and Chogokin dress up mechs with metal parts, and Saint Cloth Myth has tended to the Knights of the Zodiac for years. This specialization has a nice side effect: whether you'd rather pose or display, there's a line built exactly for your collector's heart. On top of that comes a steady stream of new releases: hardly a month goes by without new announcements, preorders, and reissues of sought-after classics.
Action figures and statues from lines like S.H.Figuarts, FiguartsZERO, S.H.MonsterArts, and Chogokin – with licenses ranging from Dragon Ball to One Piece and Demon Slayer to Godzilla. Use the filters to narrow down the range.
S.H.Figuarts are fully poseable action figures with many joints and accessories to customize. FiguartsZERO figures are fixed statues in a dynamic pose – often with effect parts, but without poseability.
Yes. Tamashii Nations is the collector label of Bandai, or more precisely Bandai Spirits, under which the Japanese manufacturer's high-end figure lines are released.
You'll find posable cast members among the action figures, while the full range of formats comes together in the figures category. Die-cast fans can head straight for the Chogokin line, and scale collectors can compare with the scale figures. Which joints, swappable parts, and effects a model includes is listed on its product page – worth checking, since the features differ noticeably from line to line.
Dragon Ball, One Piece, Demon Slayer, Sailor Moon, Godzilla, and Kaiju No. 8 keep the fandom supplied – all worlds that Tamashii Nations regularly stocks. The parent company shows up at Bandai, its prize-figure sibling at Banpresto, and the Anime theme world sets the broader frame.
